This blog is our bush-walking and hiking diary, mostly for our own benefit, but we hope others enjoy it too. It’s not meant to be a guidebook. You won’t find comprehensive track notes, maps or GPS coordinates, just general information and our comments. I’ll also put up my photos.
We’re in our 60s and live in Sydney. We’re not vastly experienced bush-walkers, but we’ve done a fair bit, off and on, over the years and our sons, now in their 30s, enjoy it too. Most of our walks are within a couple of hours by car or train from home.
We also have a farm on the south coast of Western Australia, arguably the most beautiful part of Australia. You’ll find a link on this site to my blog about the farm, which is called Faraway.
